| Here are some great pictures from the Balheimer Family album. Most pictures are in thumbnail format, so you can click on the picture to see it in full size. Our HomeWe have a beautiful home in the Autumn Run subdivision of Pace Florida. A lot of people, when they think of Florida, think of Miami and south Florida. We are in northwest Florida, more commonly referred to as "Florabama" since we are so close to Alabama. After all, it's only an hours drive to Mobile, Alabama!

The following is a pictorial history of Balheimer family events for 2004, the Year of the Monkey. JanuaryJanice's best friend Becky Coberly came to visit for a week. Janice, Becky, and I went to Mobile Alabama to see the Dead Sea scroll exhibit, and were able to enjoy a Mardi Gra parade also.
FebruaryJanice went to Las Vegas with Becky for a little vacation. Dale stayed at home and played bachelor (and found he did not like it!)... MarchDale and Janice spent time enjoying the company of his sister Carla and her sons Forrest and Houston, who moved to Pensacola the day after Hurricane Ivan hit.
AprilDale, Carla, Forrest, and Houston got to enjoy the thrills of dirt track stock car racing at Southern Raceway in east Milton. Carla, Dale and the boys enjoyed eating sausages and watching some very fun racing! Party pooper Janice doesn't like racing so she missed out on the fun...
MayThis was a sad month for me. My baby sister Carla decided she really missed California, and the big experiment with moving out to Florida wasn't working. She put her house on the market and moved back to California... I will really miss my sister Carla and my nephews Forrest and Houston...
June is my birthday month, but Tropical Storm Arlene was a present I did not want! We had a lot of rain, and didn't experience any damage to our home, however we lost several branches from our poor stressed out oak trees. One branch in particular had been damaged in 1995 with hurricanes Erin and Opal, survived hurricane Ivan, and then this little storm finally made it give up!
Ok we had Tropical Storm Arlene last month, now adding insult to injury we were directly hit by Hurricane Dennis! A category three hurricane, the eye of the storm were directly over our house! We had a lot of rain, and didn't experience any direct damage to our home, however we lost most of the branches from our poor stressed out oak trees.
Ok we had hurricane Dennis last month, now adding even more insult to injury we were brushed by Hurricane Katrina! Besides a six hour power outage, and some more damage to our poor oak trees, we did not experience any damage to our home.
